My liability to the above mentioned creditors is in Hong Kong dollars and I have calculated the amount in 2 sterling at the existing rate of exchange. The rate of exchange
has risen from 2/- since 1914 and my above mentioned debts before the war equalled only
£6,000.
Certain policies of assurance on my life of which the following are the only particulars
I have at present available, viz. Sun Life Asace. Co. of Canada Noe. 163734 & 163871 and
London & Lancashire Life & General Assce. Association Ltd. (now London & Scottish Assurance Corporation Ltd). Nos. 51447 & 62162 for Rs.12,500 and Rs.12,000 respectively are in the
hands of certain of the above mentioned creditors, but I am unable to give more definite
information as to these debts or the policies without ascertaining it from Hong Kong.
